Hello! I’m Miriam…

SPEAKER, consultant, & educational PSYCHologist

I am a highly-rated speaker and consultant with 25 years of public speaking experience. I am trained in school psychology, applied behavior analysis, yoga, meditation, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and trauma- and resilience-informed practices.

I’m a very imperfect human, recovering perfectionist, and mom/stepmom of 4. I am also the host of the Mindful Miri Podcast.

At the core of my professional mission is the desire to help others thrive.

I LOVE rising by lifting others. It lights me up! My mission is to use my empathy, passion, and innate ability to awaken insights in others and to be a trusted and inspiring figure in the lives around me. Whether it's through engaging workshops, consultations, or one-on-one interactions, I hope to ignite a spark of motivation and instill a sense of confidence in others.

My commitment to personal and professional growth has been described as, “infectious.” I am a lifelong learner and I continuously seek out new research, perspectives, and practices to serve those around me. I believe that everyone has unique gifts and talents waiting to be discovered, and I work tirelessly to create environments and opportunities that facilitate self-discovery and unleash individual potential.

Through my work, I empower individuals to embrace their strengths, discover their passions, and create meaningful and impactful lives.

THE OFFICIAL STUFF

Throughout my education, I have had the privilege of engaging with a wide range of learning environments, the benefits of a traditional academic curriculum, and the rewards of experiential learning, each contributing to my growth and shaping my passion for promoting academic and personal well-being.
